The Sacred Love

When I was thinking about Valentine's I wanted to create something that represents a clear message of highly passionate love but not in the kind that will burn us away or turn us into dust afterward but with a passion that comes with a sense of holiness and divinity. The inspiration behind this design is from 'The Sacred Heart' a symbol that is often depicted in Christian art which represents divination, devotion, and passionate love towards mankind combined with a classic Valentine's symbol like Red roses which also symbolizes passion, desire, true love, and romance. The elements in this look illustrate the contradiction of traditional fashion and digital fashion in terms of technique, material, and silhouette: for instance, the flaming heart on the dress, the metallic balloon heart shape with a puckering effect, or realistic red roses on both sleeves with a deep-red color accent along with shiny-gold material that gives a sense of sacred passion.
